Effective OCD Treatment helps people find relief from anxieties, intrusive thoughts, and repetitive behaviors or avoidance that interfere with their lives.

Matthew B. Myles - Director
Effective OCD Treatment is dedicated to helping people reduce symptoms of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, other anxiety disorders, and related concerns. 'Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy' (CBT), including 'Exposure and Response Prevention' (ERP), is the approach that research shows is effective for helping OCD symptoms. A treatment plan is created collaboratively and is unique to each person's symptoms and goals.
OCD triggers are often more severe in someone's home environment. Symptoms can make it especially difficult to attend outside appointments, so this treatment approach works with people in their own homes and communities in addition to meetings at the office. Family members are often included in portions of treatment. Involvement must be specific to the individual and discussed and agreed upon by the person and their family.
